About Us

Our Story

After the murder of  her only son, my cousin Mamie hoped the world would stop looking away when others endured struggles.  So, I asked families fighting for justice what they REALLY needed and this site is a result of those conversations.

Hi! My name is Amberly R. Carter, M.Ed. and I am a cousin of Emmett Till. I launched Mamie Till Mobley Enterprise, Inc. in 2015 because I wanted to give families affected by community violence love and support through committed advocacy. Through the use of technology and social influence, I have been able to connect them to volunteers, brands and business owners with strategic methods and an online platform that fosters media alliance and engages community stakeholders as well as policy makers, so that together we can put in motion ways to stop the madness.

Family-Centered
Family-centered services are an integral approach to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of memorial foundation and charity formation. We are here for you to help you with your ideas and putting them into action.
Inclusive
We don’t believe anyone is disposable. If our activism isn’t intersectional, then it certainly isn’t revolutionary. We are working to create a welcoming environment for you online and throughout the world.
Insightful
We have a lot to share with you. This is a content driven website and we hope you’ll find it both informative and compelling to take in.
Accessible
Many times people aren’t willing to share information freely in order to help move people forward. Our staff is very approachable. Send us an email if you have questions at support@mamietillmobley.com
